Most everything we grow is organic. We are not certified organic because that is a pricey undertaking and we are quite small. We use organic and sustainable farming methods like crop rotation, green manure cover crops for fertilization and soil erosion control, and the use of chickens for fertilizer in the form of composted chicken manure. We have to spray the apples a few times per season with an all-purpose fruit tree spray, but all other crops are completely free of pesticides and fungicides.
